Han & I met Terry when we moved into the Bury 12+ years ago. We often bumped into each other in the Mess and had a good chat, setting the World to rights. I was sat having some drinks with friends on my penultimate night in Odiham recently, not long before He passed. Terry silently approached the table and placed down a large glass of my favourite tipple. No words, just a silent goodbye . A man of extraordinary kindness who will be missed and remembered fondly. I am so sorry I can’t be there to raise a glass.
